PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The DIS-218 and DIS-318 are 18.5” display units powered with a Freescale® i.MX6 ARM Cortex-A9 dual-core processor at 800MHz with a high performance GPU, making it ideal for demanding graphics applications including multi-stream video playback.
The display is designed for harsh working environments optionally in a sheet-metal or fiberglass housing.
The display unit comes with two 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports with a bypass relay. This is ideal for daisy-chaining multiple units without the need of an Ethernet switch, which simplifies the istallation. Implemented UC-Ring technology allows building a fault-tolerant ECN using ring topology with an unlimited number of switches while still ensuring a fast fault recovery time of less than 50ms.
All system SW components are optimized for industrial applications. The core is the Linux-based operating system. Built-in network servers provide easy browser-based configuration, SW update and system diagnostics.
