PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The TLR-2 mobile communication gateway is intended for train-ground wireless data transmission over mobile and Wi-Fi networks. There is available a complete portfolio of communication modems LTE, HSPA, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS and GSM-R for installation in the TLR-2. Additionally it provides GPS/ GLONASS position.
For connection to the on-board network it offers a number of communication interfaces and also digital I/Os. The ultra-wide power supply input range supports all common on-board voltages. It has been specifically designed for harsh industrial environments providing suitability for applications in rolling stock.
All system SW components are optimized for industrial applications. The core is the Linux-based operating system. Soft PLC UniCON executes the application program developed in UniCAP. Built-in network servers provide easy browser-based configuration, SW update and system diagnostics. The Monitoring and Diagnostic system (MDS) ensures collection of diagnostic data from any device in the network.
